Boise Natural Families
A yahoo emai list for Boise and Idaho parents who tend to stray from mainstream parenting and living. Topics can include: attachment parenting, breastfeeding, homebirth/midwifery, non-vaxing, anti-circumcision, and homeschooling.

Christian Homeschoolers of Idaho State (CHOIS)
A Christian, non-profit volunteer organization that offers a magzine entitled CHOIS Connection, support group contact information and an annual convention in June. Email for more info.

Idaho Coalition of Home Educators (ICHE)
Based in Eagle, ICHE offers standardized testing information, HSLDA updates and a Legislative Day.

Idaho Homeschoolers
A new, inclusive information center that lists a wide array of resources, activities, current news and getting started information.

Western Region Unschoolers
A group for unschoolers that want more time to play with friends in Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and California. This is a forum to organize some travel, camping, and other places to get together. Created by unschoolers living in the Western Region of the U.S. who attended the Live & Learn Unschooling Conference. A Christian support group that provides family activities, parent meetings and social/academic events in the Mountain Home area.

Heartland Home Educators
An inclusive non-profit support group/educational support network for the Central Idaho area.

Inland Northwest Christian Homeschoolers (INCH)
A non-profit co-op and support group for Coeur d'Alene and surrounding areas offering a variety of academic and enrichment classes for Pre-K through high school.

Presentations Group
A new group is designed to give homeschool students an opportunity to give presentations in front of an audience. Open to all ages, and participants may choose any type of presentation: oral reports, musical performances, skits, dramatic readings, demonstrations, etc. The group will meet for presentation events on the 4th Friday afternoon of each month at 2 PM. The location is not yet firmed up, but will be in Meridian, Eagle, or Nampa. If your children are not comfortable performing, you are still welcome to come watch the presentations.
